The costume models used on the Monday studio evenings tend to pose for an hour at a time.
You can bring whatever art medium you prefer.
Most people who attend use acrylics, pastels or sketching pencils.
A limited number of easels and drawing boards are provided free of charge for the evenings.
If you have your own easel you can bring it along.

Art materials are not provided, please bring your own

Each portrait session lasts for approx two hours with a 15 minute break in between.

Tea & coffee is provided (25p per cup)

If you are interested in joining after your first visit, you can either pick-up a membership form at Stockport Art Gallery or print one off this website (Go to the MEMBERSHIP FORM link).

It is advisable to become a member if you wish to attend more than one art studio evening as you will be able to benefit from receiving newsletters and also eligible to submit artwork to the Guild's annual exhibitions.
